Just so you know, non-arc comics and one-panelers are still funny. You don’t have to try to be like other comics. find your own style. Having random comics (but with the same characters) can still be funny if they’re planned out.

most comics dont do story arcs… and a story is easier to ake comics with if its planned out… like the one I am staring it

i have seen dozens of story arcs, and i rarely read webcomics. the only comic ive seen that has never done a story arc is xkcd. They’ve actually done 1, i think, about some amazing hacker chick who kicks some ass. i really didn’t consider it an arc.
still, lotsa comics do arcs…
